Reggae Industry Meets Economic Development Policy In Africa.

Jimee went to 10 schools in Zambia Tanzania and Kenya, paid for by DANIDA. DANIDA REGGAE is a quest to fuse develppment policy in Africa with the objectives of Roots Reggae and Rastafari based on egalitarian aspects of Danish socio-economic governance.

Our Approach

We are developing a socio-economic tool by the name of CCSR (Comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility.

We are searching for the GOLDEN RATIO OF FINANCIAL DISTRIBUTION that will elminate poverty.

We are reviewing all known economic dynamics and applying new possibilities into existing and new systems.

We make use of Danish solutions as templates for the innovation of structures best suited for rural Africa.

Combining The Best Of Denmark With The Best Of Mchinji.

Mchinji is the name of a District in Malawi and its capital.

Our project is embeded in the fabric of the people and meets them where they are.

From our base at KAYESA INN, we conduct the activities that fulfill our objectives.

Here, great minds from all over the world meet to innovate local and global socio-economic solutions.

Reversing African Migration To Europe And Brain Drain To The USA.

In Denmark, as elsewhere in The West, the topic of immigration is highly politicised.

In strictly African terms, African migration to Europe and America is a loss of Human Resources.

Africa needs all its bright minds and strong bodies.

CCSR is designed to create a win win solutions for the aspirations of Africans and the interests of foreign continents

REGGAE FOR FOOD

In Mchinji several farmers have been trained in the techniques of PERMACULTURE.

We look to the principles of this great discipline for inspiration for financial structures that combine to form a balanced economic symbiosis.

We release REGGAE MUSIC to pay for the training of farmers.

Danish Ideas And Mirror

My Danish Step Father s idea was that I should be immersed in the realities of rural Africa before being exposed to the privileges that we could afford and that Denmark had to offer. Both my parents were keen on keeping us rural and basic.

After attending 10 schools in Tanzania, Zambia and Kenya, I was sent to Denmark at age 15. There I learned many new ideas that gave me the strong desire to impact my world.

This project presents the ideas of Danish thinkers in order to inspire self determination in Africans. However, I have also come to realise that the ideas are a a mirror for Danish people to help them re-evaluate perspectives that they currently hold.

MALAWI GOVERNMENT

We have a very diplomatic framework for engaging with The Government of Malawi.

We are not politically aligned but we are committed to solving geo-political challenges.

We therefore formulate our objectives in response to global, continental, and regional institutions and their professed charters.

We have so far been very well served by the NEPAD MANIFESTO from 2001. Chapter 4 in particular exhorts Africans to set up self organised structures such as ours.

WOMEN

My Mother was passionate about Womens Rights. All our solutions are based on empowering women.

SCHOOLS

In DENMARK, my first school was OSTED FRI OG EFTERSKOLE. Thats where I took up music and learned about the ozone layer.

Throughout the years, my school friends and bandmembers have been supportive of me.

The CCSR curricullum borrows ideas from Danish schools and combines them with ideas from African schools.

Ultimately we want that the ideas we develop will benefit all the world.

10 BILLION DOLLAR PLAN PILOT PROJECTS

The TEN BILLION DOLLAR PLAN is a pilot project made up of many pilot projects in cohesion.

Using an intricate network of 12 member cells, we spread a carpet of initiatives across the world.

All the cells must commit to permaculture training before venturing into ideas of their own.

The cohesion of the network is an occupation in itself, creating even more cells …

ZISAKUDUTSE SOVEREIGN FUND, INSURANCE AND PENSION.

MALAWI is essentially a dual economy.

One economy is powered by human strength and the other is powered by the price of oil.

To bridge the gap we are developing ZISAKUDUTSE SOVEREIGN FUND, which will also function as insurance and pension.

Zisakudutse will be formed as a SOCIAL ENTERPRISE with universal Malawian stakeholders including the government, the opposition and Civil Society.

It will make use of the services provided by organisations such as MEJN- Malawi Economic Justice Network and others. Our main function is to nurture liaisons across sectors and this is the essence of CCSR.

PERMACULTURE PERMEATES SECTORS.

The symbiotic essence of permaculture translates into every sphere of economic activity-if given the chance.

In the 1980s the IMF imposed structural adjustments on African economies in exchange for funding. We do not agree with those measures but we do value the lesson on how important structures are.

Depending on the structure, dynamics impact economies. Permaculture provides fundamental cohesive interaction from the bottom to the top of the economy, down again and round and round.

REGGAE FOR BOOKS.

Our music only gives a short summary of our challenges. Song lyrics are not sufficient when it comes to impacting society and shaping minds. REGGAE FOR BOOKS is the philosophy of selling music products and performances in exchange for knowledge.

CAPE TOWN TO CAIRO BY FOOT.

The ideas that we develop in MCHINJI will be shared with communities across Africa.

In order to kick-start this dissemination and implementation of projects, I will walk 18000 kilometres from Cape Town to Cairo and inspire others to do similar things.

The walk will consist of well organised meetings and sessions conducted while walking.

POVERTY IS THE TRUE WEALTH OF THE POOR.

Poverty requires all strong economies to pay a percentage of their annual budget towards its alleviation. The rightful owners of that money are the poor.

My ideas fragmentise the colossal structures prone to corruption and misappropriation of funds. We do this by creating cells of 12 people with one common bank account and a common agenda.

These self monitoring cells decrease the administration costs that characterise NGOs. Through CCSR we teach the poor how to put value into their poverty and leverage everything connected to it in their favour. Instead of recipients of charity,we turn them into advocates and leaders of poverty reduction.

My example is the small tuck shop from my home which will sell REGGAE DOLLARS in support of my walk from Cape Town to Cairo.

MR ANDERSEN. A FAMILY LEGACY

My parents, Mr and Mrs Andersen were committed to ending poverty in Africa. I have learned a lot from them and I am itching to implement their lessons along with my own innovations. I also have siblings who are equally engaged in poverty alleviation and together we secure our parents legacy.
