UNESCO REGGAE is a song written to substantiate the value of Reggae according to the text of the inscription of Reggae on the UNESCO LIST OF INTANGIBLE HERITAGE OF HUMANITY. The high profile role envisioned for the song requires a high profile protagonist. No reggae legend would be more suitable for this song than the Hon Jimmy Cliff OM.
The Demo version by Jimmy Andersen and Robert Carvalho provides a precise rendition of the arrangment. However it is part of our strategy that songs should be recorded in studios from scratch. Faling this, the instrumental will be made available to assist the recording of vocals.
