For The Love Of Mamma
COOL MUM RECORDS reflects the love and respect I have for my Mother, her memory, her legacy, her women’s group DZITHANDIZENI, our community in Mchinji, Malawi , the rest of Africa and the world. It is my way of ensuring that her influence will be long remembered, appreciated and benefitted from by the people she loved the most-the poorest of our African women. All proceeds from my music goes to building my mothers legacy and the continuation of DZITHANDIZENI from strength to strength.
Intergrating Africa
The story of the African woman is the same everywhere. She is up against the same challenges as billions of others, within the same economic structure. Through recording with COOL MUM RECORDS and publishing with KING OF AFRICA PUBLISHING the challenges become easier to bear.

Cool Mum Records Malawi has its headquarters at Kayesa Inn, at Madzimayera, in Mchinji.

We stay in touch with all that is going on in Mchinji and are involved in many ways. Operating under traditional authorities and the colonial institutions, we bridge gaps where it really matters.

COOL MUM RECORDS builds a bridge between the women of Africa and the women of the world, in particular the descendants of African slavery in the Western Hemisphere..
Freedom Fighter.
My mother was involved in fighting for freedom in Malawi twice. First as a adolescent against British administration and then as an activist for multi party democracy against the one party rule of Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda. Subsequent to Multi Party victory in 1993 and 1994, my mother was in the National Assembly as well is a commisioner on Malawi’s first ever Comission for Land whichwas tasked to present the best proposals for land tenure in Malawi.
